Healing Prayer

I will not cry “great spirit”, or “higher one than I”, I will not use big lofty words, to try to draw You nigh. Instead I’ll call you “Father”, “Papa, hear my prayer to come. I’m asking, Lord, for healing power, in the name of Your dear Son.”

The doctors don’t know what to do. They cannot find the cause. They poke and prod and test my body. Lord, this all seems odd. I know you made each cell of mine, You know me inside out. I’m leaving all this in Your hands. Lord, help me not to doubt.
