Shabbat Shalom!

During my study of the Torah, the LORD has had me define every name. In Genesis Chapter 5, The LORD also had me look up the generational ages of death. I thought that odd, but I obeyed, and did look up the numbers as I went along. As always, the LORD showed me the reason for looking up this information. The Names, all speak of The LORD’s redemption plan. The numbers of their ages at death, also speak of the beautiful plan.

These things matter. Our names matter. Our length of days matter. They matter more than we know, or perhaps can imagine. Join me as The Holy Spirit unfolds the Redemption story, all in the names and length of days. He is amazing. He is more amazing than we could every think possible. This is our LORD. This is our King.

Praise His Name! Hallelujah and Amen!

Blessings to you,

Shabbat Shalom!

I thought this might be a good time to introduce you to a favorite practice of mine: baking bread–especially Challah bread. This sweet, braided bread is considered a “Shabbat” bread, and is made on Shabbat, around the globe.

Challah is a sweet bread, sweetened with sugar or honey. I sweeten mine with honey. It is a wish for a sweet Sabbath. I also make mine with Olive oil, to remind me of the in-grafting into the Commonwealth of Israel.

This is the easiest, and most delicious Challah bread I’ve found. I pray it is a blessing to you and your family. May your Sabbath be Peaceful and Sweet. The LORD bless you.

We can all identify with being a stranger from the God Most High. This passage, in Genesis 4, stopped me and offered me a picture of my identification with Yeshua Messiah: my New Life, hidden with Him.

We are no longer strangers and foreigners to God. We are His Children, and He will fight for us! Join me, as I dive deeper, and discover our renewed relationship with this Defending Father!

Shabbat Shalom.

What is Shema? Shema means to Hear and Obey. We can hear and we can obey, but do we do them with the right heart?

The Holy Spirit taught as I was writing and exploring the Hebrew in Genesis 4:1-3. He was comparing Cain and Abel with Martha and Mary. They all heard & obeyed, but did they all Shema (Hear & Obey) with the right heart?

Join me as the Holy Spirit unfolds this heart “check up”. What are my motivations for hearing and obeying? Self focused? Kingdom focused? I needed this “check up”. Maybe it will be a blessing to you as well.

Shabbat Shalom (Sabbath Peace to you).

The LORD bless you,

Landra

Making a Portable (Mini) Hanukkiah

For many of you, this may be your first Hanukkah. For my first, I wanted my own Hanukkiah (9-branched Menorah). So, I searched the web, and found this little gem. It is easy to make, and you can celebrate The Light of the World, in your home (or wherever you’d like).

So, go empty a mint tin, grab some spray paint, a glue gun, and some birthday candles! You are in for some fun!

Blessings to you and yours, this Holiday season. I look forward to sharing about this beautiful Holiday, that even our LORD, Yeshua celebrated! Stay tuned…

The LORD bless you and keep you.

Happy Crafting, and go be His LIGHT!

Yeshua: The Way and Lead Archer

Shabbat Shalom (Sabbath Peace)!

This year, The Father has had me writing through the Torah (Genesis-Deuteronomy). As I go, I am diving into many of the words, in Hebrew. The Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) is teaching so much! It is beautiful. It is the plan to share these findings, among other Hebrew treasures, with you, each Erev Shabbat (Eve of Shabbat)!

This teaching covers Genesis 3:24, where the texts speaks of the expulsion of Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden. Where the text talks of the “Way, leading to the Garden”, The Ruach opened my eyes! Here’s your teaser: The Torah, comes from the root Hebrew word for “Mark” (as in mark of a target–think archery), and “missing the mark” is the picture of sin. Now, one of the meanings of the word, “Way”, is “Lead Archer”. Who do we know called “The Way”? What is the picture the Father is trying to paint, with this verse? Which “Way” are we going? Join me, and fall in love again with the One who loves you…and wants you back, reigning with Him, in the Garden.

Blessings to you & Shabbat Shalom,

Etsah
